Gladi has had a hard life, living in an isolated one-room hut alongside of a banana plantation where her husband works. She cannot read nor write, but does enjoy making her crafts. She tried for years to come up with products that were good enough to sell in the group. Gladi has 3 living children after many miscarriages and losses. This project has given her a new purpose to life.
